I always wake up in around 3 a.m. I wonder why. I am compelled to write. I am not sure why it is always the same time. Maybe this is part of my general punctuality?What wakes you in the night?
I usually sit straight up in bed. I have visions and usually words that beg to be written.
I used to poke fun at people who wrote things such as this. What pretentiousness! What vanity!
Now I call it inspiration.
Who is my muse? I don't know. It is really strange. I write the things that wake me in the night.
I hesitate to call myself a real, bonifide writer.
Yes, I am published. Yet, I feel as though I have not "come into myself," as my stepmother would say.
Perhaps in the next month....I am writing a speech that will be read during Inauguration Week.
